Lebowitz & Edelman Advises on USD1.3bn Project Financing of the Major Power Plant Expansion
Online, October 31, 2013 (Newswire.com) - One of the largest coal-fired power complex in and an independent power producer (IPP) in China was advised through the entire process by the Lebowitz & Edelman team of experts.
The expansion in the form of two additional units is a key infrastructure project for China's energy strategy intended to meet the needs of the economy and increase the country's installed electricity generation capacity. The 700 MW expansion will bring the total gross capacity to 2056 MW.

The expansion used Japanese and Korean ECAs in addition to a combination of Chinese and European banks.
