Learn How to Attract Investors With the BrightLane Entrepreneur Awards "In Conversation" Web Series With Guest Speakers Walsh McGuire and Jesse Moeinifar. Profile interviews with competitors Pierre Séguin, Founder of Brili and Julius Tang, Co-Founder of TurnKii.

The BrightLane Entrepreneur Awards web series has ended, but the journey of the entrepreneurs competing continues as they compete for an extended 6-month Membership at BrightLane and the potential to win $15,000.

As part of their Membership at BrightLane, our entrepreneurs can learn from mentors at In Conversation sessions, featuring established entrepreneurs sharing their experiences in various industries and on varying topics (investment, marketing etc.). After each session, BrightLane talks with two competitors to update viewers on their progress in the BrightLane Entrepreneur Awards and in their own business initiatives.

During today's mentorship opportunity on investments, we learned quite a few good points that I literally just went to talk to my cofounders about.

Julius Tang, Co-Founder of TurnKii

The first In Conversation webisode is available on BrightLane's website and BrightLane’s YouTube channel. This episode features guest speakers Walsh McGuire (CFA Principal, Kalenjin Advisors) and Jesse Moeinifar (Founder and CEO, Viafoura) speaking on how to attract investors. Afterwards, viewers can catch-up with Pierre Séguin (Founder of Brili) and Julius Tang (Co-Founder of TurnKii) who have been working hard at expanding their businesses and obtaining financial support through investors. In his interview, Julius explains how helpful the In Conversation sessions are, “During today’s mentorship opportunity on investments, we learned quite a few good points that I literally just went to talk to my cofounders about.”

There will be four more In Conversation episodes release through May and into June. After which, the winners of the extended 6-month Membership at BrightLane will be announced.

BrightLane is a community of entrepreneurs working together on King Street West. A cool location and a historic brick and beam building may describe where our Members work, but the value is in the community. We want to help entrepreneurs -- lawyers, consultants, freelancers, small businesses and start-ups – connect, collaborate, innovate and ultimately, improve their business and entrepreneurial initiatives.
