Leading Texas Independence Proponent Lands Book Deal

HOUSTON, August 25, 2017 (Newswire.com) - ​David Thomas Roberts, President of Defiance Press & Publishing, LLC announced today a multi-book deal with the President of the Texas Nationalist Movement, Daniel Miller.

Defiance Press and Miller have agreed to re-release a newly updated version of his initial title, "Line in the Sand" which has become a de facto primer in the fundamentals of Texas Nationalism. Additionally, Defiance Press will publish Miller's highly anticipated upcoming title, "Texit," due to be available in early 2018.

Miller's "Texit," is the first thoroughly researched nonfiction book to delve into the motivations, the process, and the practicality of a modern-day Texas 'peaceful' exit from the United States. Channeling his 20 years of experience on the issue, Miller takes the reader through the historical and cultural foundations of "Texit," its impact on mainstream politics, and plainly lays out the grievances expressed by many Texans that drive their support for an independent Texas. "Texit" also addresses the most common objections with the facts and sheds light on what a future Republic of Texas could look like.
