Jobspeaker, the skills-based education to employment platform, announces a new partnership with the Central/Mother Lode Regional Consortium (CRC), an association of 14 community colleges in the Central Valley of California. CRC selected Jobspeaker as their preferred partner for helping students at CRC member colleges find jobs, track employment success, and to foster collaborations to facilitate the education to the employment process.

Jobspeaker’s employment platform is perfectly aligned with the goals of the CRC colleges, which is to increase collaboration between all community partners, students, alumni and employers to ensure better outcomes for all. Jobspeaker provides a unique service that supports Work Based Learning (WBL) opportunities and matches job opportunities to students based on acquired skills from their postsecondary education or training. It helps students manage and advance in their job search, and communicate directly with prospective employers on any device. The Jobspeaker mobile app is built to engage and assist students, whether they are on the go or on campus.

Jobspeaker offered our colleges a customizable platform with the versatility to meet the unique needs of our 14 regional colleges. They have been exceptionally easy to work with, and show a commitment to helping the colleges provide quality connections between their students and employees.

The CRC wanted to ensure that the community colleges in the consortium can provide their students with ample employment opportunities when they graduate. In collaboration with the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office, the CRC piloted the Jobspeaker platform at a number of colleges in order to ensure the efficacy of their solution to the community colleges and their students. As a direct result of these pilots, the CRC was convinced that Jobspeaker provides the services that their member colleges need. “Jobspeaker offered our colleges a customizable platform with the versatility to meet the unique needs of our 14 regional colleges. They have been exceptionally easy to work with, and show a commitment to helping the colleges provide quality connections between their students and employment,” said Karri Hammerstrom, Regional Chair, Central/Mother Lode Regional Consortium.
