Inexpensive Web Space For Typo3: Bitpalast Is Sweetening Its Offer

Bitpalast upgraded RAM and CPU-power to make its inexpensive web space ready for Typo3, also improving web server performance for other applications.

In a race for new customers web space provider Bitpalast makes additional improvements to its service by doubling RAM power for PHP-scripts. Entry-level servers now feature 256MB of RAM compared to the previous 128MB.

CPU performance has been increased as well: computing processes on the servers have been rearranged, offering better performance to all web space users. Previously, the provider already added website data compression between browser and server, enabling users with slow internet connections to load customer web content more quickly.

All these improvements are aimed at making the web hosting service fit for Typo3 users. While Typo3 is a free content management system (CMS), it is also a professional software and quite demanding in terms of power. Up to now, Bitpalast had discouraged users of its inexpensive, small web servers from using Typo3 and suggested a virtual private server instead. However, many private users feel that the costs are too high.

Due to the provider's system upgrade, Typo3 now also runs on Bitpalast's inexpensive web space. A 100-day free trial is available for testing.
