Illinois Medical Marijuana Dispensary Training Presented by HempStaff Returns to the Chicago Area on July 15
A four-hour professional training course that teaches about the medicinal aspects of cannabis, available products, and the Illinois Laws
CHICAGO, Ill., July 11, 2017 (Newswire.com) - HempStaff, a medical marijuana staffing and training agency will be hosting Medical Marijuana Dispensary Training courses in the Chicago area this Saturday – July 15, 2017. There are two sessions to choose from: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. or 1:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. The event will be held at the Doubletree at 1200 North Mittel Boulevard in Wood Dale, Illinois. The cost is $249 with prior online registration or $300 cash at the door if seats are still available. This will be the ninth set of classes Hempstaff has done in the Chicago area since March 2015 and they have given medical marijuana certifications to over 850 students, many of which are now working in the Illinois Cannabis Industry.
The sale of medical marijuana started with eight licensed dispensaries on Nov. 9, 2015. Since that time, the Illinois Medical Marijuana Program has continued to grow to meet the market demand which of course, increases the need for trained employees. HempStaff's four-hour course is designed to prepare participants to work in a medical marijuana dispensary and provides them a serious advantage when seeking employment.

The course offers participants training about cannabis and cannabis products along with all the information to keep up-to-date with the Illinois medical marijuana laws. HempStaff offers a resume review to help best prepare students who are seeking employment after this course as well. The end of the course offers a certification exam, that the student must score at least 75 percent to earn their HempStaff Dispensary Agent Certification. HempStaff is also a recruiting agency so when employers seek to fill entry level dispensary agents or cultivation site workers, students are contacted first.
