Houston Physician Selected as Team Physician for Scrap Yard Dawgs Professional Softball Team
Houston, TX, June 28, 2016 (Newswire.com) - KSF Orthopaedic Center, P.A., an orthopaedic surgical practice with 40 years of providing excellence in orthopaedics to Houstonians, is honored to be selected as the team physicians for the Scrap Yard Dawgs Professional Softball Team.
The Scrap Yard Dawgs are part of the National Pro Fastpitch league and play their home games at the “Scrap Yard” in The Woodlands, Texas. "I am excited to work with such world class athletes and I look forward to watching the team grow in the community," said Dr. Michael S. George, a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon with KSF Orthopaedic Center, P.A. who specializes in orthopaedic sports medicine.

Dr. George will lead the group as the head team physician for the Scrap Yard Dawgs. He also treats professional rodeo cowboys as a member of the Justin Sports Medicine Team and has been a team physician for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, as well as the team physician for North American University, Texas A&T junior college football team, The Woodlands Strykers collegiate baseball team and several area high schools.
Dr. George also performs advanced arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder and knee, arthroscopic rotator cuff repair, arthroscopic shoulder stabilization, distal biceps tendon repair, anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction, multiligament knee reconstruction, total shoulder replacement and total knee replacement.
