formed in 2008 Precision Subsea AS provide the SEA CON® group with vital manufacturing and specialist design skills the team in Norway are behind some of the most innovative products in the SEA CON® range. Precision Subsea AS are renowned for their ability to develop reliable high performance solutions.
The new facilities allow quicker development and testing of client product development. In particular the new facilities allow a higher capacity for handling both Jumper and Harness assemblies.
The expanded base includes office facilities and 700sqm of workshop space and a fiber optic clean room. The addition of a meter pressure vessel greatly expand the testing range for new products. The new facility takes SEA CON® global manufacturing base to well over 10,000sqm.
Best known for the Hydralight connector which is a second generation optical underwater mateable connector much used by the Oil and Gas industry and in undersea high speed communications cabling. The Hydralight has sold over 2,000 units globally and logged over 32 million hours of service.
With the expansion of facilities Precision can offer extra services including, pressure test rental, faster prototype development and Jumper and assembly refurbishment.
