Florida Panthers to Host Autism Awareness Night on April 2

Panthers, South Florida Ford Team Up for Annual Event

The Florida Panthers and South Florida Ford have announced that their annual Autism Awareness Night will be held on April 2 when the Florida Panthers host the Carolina Hurricanes at 7:30 p.m.

The Panthers will be offering a private sensory-friendly lounge for families as well at group pricing for Autism Awareness Night. A portion of all ticket sales using THIS link will go to Autism Speaks and buyers will receive an Autism Speaks/Florida Panthers T-Shirt.

The Community Champion that evening will be Autism Speaks, who will be awarded with a grant from the Florida Panthers Foundation Community Champion Grant program, presented by Moss Construction. In its second season, the Community Champions Grant program has committed five million over five years honoring local organizations.

Panthers social media accounts will turn blue in honor of National Autism Awareness Day's #LIUB campaign. The evening's game presentation will also feature #LIUB and Autism Awareness facts.

Fans are encouraged to use #Ford4Autism throughout the night on April 2, as Ford will donate $5 to Autism Speaks each time the hashtag is used. Fans can also use the hashtag #LIUB for Light it Up Blue.

The annual Autism Speaks walk will take place at BB&T Center in Sunrise on Sept. 29, 2018. Anyone who is interested in participating in the walk can register, by visiting AutismSpeaks.org.
