eSchoolView expands offerings with the acquisition of a national web-based calendar and facility management software company.

The purchase of DynaCal enables eSchoolView to enhance service to existing clients through its online content management solution. The Columbus, Ohio company creates custom websites and education management software for K-12 schools, school systems, and education organizations.

"DynaCal is a natural fit for us, and its platform will integrate seamlessly with our CMS,"

Robert O'Leary, Owner

"Our customers drive our product development," Rob O’Leary, eSchoolView’s Executive Director said. "We offer tools based squarely on the feedback we receive, whether that’s building a customized solution or improving tools we have in place."

Now in its fifth year, eSchoolView has offices in Ohio, North Carolina, and Arizona and is listed as 1409 on the Inc. 5000 index of fastest growing U.S. companies. Its revenue has increased by more than 400 percent in the past three years.

eSchoolView hosts websites for more than 1,500 schools and school districts across the country. DeKalb County Schools in Georgia and Columbus Public Schools in Ohio are two of the company’s larger clients, and it also serves networks of districts such as those in New York under the umbrella of regional Board of Educational Cooperative Services (BOCES).

DynaCal’s web-based calendaring and facility scheduling system functions from a public point of view, so sharing details about events and event management is more straightforward. It also has a work order management component that can be used internally between departments.

"DynaCal is a natural fit for us, and its platform will integrate seamlessly with our CMS," O’Leary said. "We are eager to for this opportunity to continue to push our development of innovative solutions."

eSchoolView’s infrastructure will add to the capacity and performance of DynaCal’s dynamic scheduling system. Personal, hands-on training is a flagship service of both companies.

"Our fundamental mission at eSchoolView is to support educational leaders and provide them with the tools they need to connect with their parents and communities in a timely manner with relevant information," O’Leary said. "The more meaningful a relationship, the more powerful the impact on student success."

eSchoolView will work with the DynaCal team over the coming weeks and months to ensure a smooth transition. DynaCal is based in Archbold, Ohio.

"I have known eSchoolView to be a company equally as devoted to providing high-quality web-based software solutions as DynaCal has been for many years," Arlan J. Yoder, DynaCal’s president said. "We are very excited to be joining forces with them."
