With nearly 20 years of experience, Mr. Kinneman brings a wealth of knowledge to his industry and, in particular, his area of expertise, residential loans and lending services. When asked what inspired him to pursue a career in mortgages, Mr. Kinneman said:

"I was working the late shift at an air conditioning sales company, so I was the last guy to leave every night. The janitor of the facility was the owner of the janitorial company, and since he was always around cleaning while I was finishing up, he and I became friends. It turned out that he would listen in on some of my sales calls in the evening, and one night he said to me: 'Hey, Eric, you're really good with numbers, and you're even better with people. Let me introduce you to this broker friend of mine. I think you'd do really well.' I had no idea what he was talking about, but I'm not one to turn down an opportunity, so I agreed. The following week, I met with his friend, a mortgage broker, and he hired me on the spot! I haven’t looked back since."

In 2014, Mr. Kinneman joined LendSmart, where he spent several years as a loan officer before accepting a position as the manager of his local branch. In his position with LendSmart, he offers competitive pricing and strategic marketing to help clients navigate the process of getting a mortgage loan. In particular, he has noticed that with such an aggressive market, Phoenix is currently experiencing a lack of inventory. Discussing his response to these recent developments, he noted:

"Interest rates have gone up. We all know that. We have a lack of inventory here in Phoenix that, combined with the average home price, has gone up. It's definitely a different market. It almost feels like 2005 again, and the volume is down as a result of that. As aggressive as the market is, the volume is down probably about 40% from this time last year, because there's just a lack of inventory. So, it leaves us trying to create more unique products for our Realtor affiliates to open up more doors. This year, I'm changing my strategy, focusing on getting appointments set with more Realtors — face-to-faces, lunches, coffees, those types of things — to create more Realtor relationships."

Mr. Kinneman is a member of the SouthEast Valley Regional Association of Realtors (SEVRAR) and a Blue Ribbon Affiliate Member. He was recently featured as a Top Mortgage Professional in the 2017 Arizona Mortgage Edition of Top Agent Magazine.
