Dumpster USA Joins Cleanup of Mill Creek
Dumpster USA is proud to be partnered with Cumberland River Compact in the long-awaited cleanup of Mill Creek for the Nashville-area community, the company announced.
BABYLON, N.Y., August 11, 2022 (Newswire.com) - Dumpster USA is proud to be partnered with Cumberland River Compact in the long-awaited cleanup of Mill Creek for the Nashville-area community, the company announced.
Known for immediate response times and unbeatable speed of completion on projects of all sizes, Dumpster USA dispatches, hauls off waste, and assists in crisis-situation cleanups for more than 30 states across the country.
"When it was brought to our attention that residents have been living within such an overwhelming level of destruction and debris for more than a year, we knew it was a job for us," co-founder Dorian Cuomo said.
"Being there to help restore communities in dire situations such as this is what led us to start the company in the first place."
Mill Creek was left with the brunt of the damage from April 2021's devastating flooding that demolished homes, businesses, restaurants, vehicles, and buildings along the 27.9-mile waterway. Since then, the creek has been consumed by massive amounts of litter, trash, damage, junk and remains.
"If there are people who need help, that's what we're here for," Cuomo said. "We strive to be a company committed to social responsibility, being the first to answer a call to give back to the community by having our teams out there and getting the job done in the fastest possible."
Dumpster USA's nationwide vendor network of trained professionals staged equipment throughout Mill Creek's rough terrain to make it easier for the Cumberland River Compact and volunteers to dispose of the waste that has been spread throughout the wetlands.
With the goal of diverting as much trash from landfills as possible, Dumpster USA focuses on comprehensive recycling, project-specific waste management, quality control and the use of sustainable solutions.
Since being founded in October 2021, Dumpster USA has saved 6,888 trees and recycled 32,048 tons of waste in 15,288 jobs and counting.
"The community should not have to wait any longer to be able to enjoy Mill Creek again," Cuomo said. "We're on it."
