Daycare Finder Secures Futurpreneur Loan
$30,000 loan to CubbySpot to go to product development, marketing
Toronto, Canada, March 22, 2016 (Newswire.com) - TORONTO – A startup dedicated to helping parents and daycares secured a much-anticipated loan from Futurpreneur earlier this week.
CubbySpot – a website and app which allows parents to find daycare spots for their children in all major Canadian cities – will use the $30,000 loan for continued product development, including implementing upcoming features like daycare matching, private messaging and daycare referrals, as well as for marketing.
CubbySpot is the missing link between parents and daycare providers.

The Toronto-based initiative, founded by chief executive officer Regnard Raquedan and his wife, Liza, has 12,000 daycares in its database. This is the largest collection of daycare listings across Canada in a mobile app, and the company was named one of Toronto's Most Promising Startups by the Founder Institute Toronto.
