Cyma Orchids donates 5 inch Phalaenopsis orchids to the Community Memorial Hospital Auxiliary for their November 2015 Christmas Boutique, to help raise money for building a new hospital.
Anaheim, CA, November 5, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Cyma Orchids, a local family owned and operated grower, wholesaler and distributor of high quality orchids and unique home décor accessories, will donate 5” Phalaenopsis orchids to the Community Memorial Hospital Auxiliary in Ventura, CA for them to sell at their November 2015 Christmas Boutique that will be held on the 8th floor of the Hospital on November 5th and 6th. All proceeds will go directly to the building fund of the new hospital.
The November Christmas Boutique is an annual event hosted by the Community Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, which is a non-profit organization made up of volunteers in the community to support the patients and staff of the Community Memorial Hospital (CMH). This year, 400-500 people are expected to attend the open-to-the-public event, which will have approximately 16 food and craft vendors selling their holiday-themed wares and goods. In addition, 16 local businesses and four restaurants are making donations that will be sold at the event.
"We are glad to be making this donation to support the Community Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and hope that our orchids will bring in a significant amount of money to support the building of the new hospital," stated Ken Chung, owner of and operator of Cyma Orchids. "We always want to support the people in our community and this is a perfect way for us to show our support," Mr. Chung continued.

The new hospital is scheduled to open sometime between the end of 2016 and the beginning of 2017.
“This year we have quite a variety of businesses that are donating—I tried to get businesses with unique items to donate so that they would be different from the items that our regular vendors will be offering,” stated Linda McNutt, CMH Auxiliary’s Director of Donations. In addition to Cyma Orchids’ donation of 5” Phalaenopsis orchids, some of the other businesses that will be donating include Mary Kay, 31 Flavors, The Pampered Chef, Chivas Skin Care (goat milk skin care products), Conway Confections (chocolate-dipped oranges), We Olive (artesian olive oil) and Cowboy Ike’s Wine Jelly.
