Chicago Access Network Television (CAN TV) Board of Directors elected four new members to the board at its Dec. 8, 2021, annual meeting. CAN TV is an independent nonprofit established in 1983 as the public's space on cable television, free of commercials, filters and censors. CAN TV Board Chair Sarah Eilefson said, "The additions of Carroll Furlough Jr., Darryl Holliday, Ryan Podges and Branden Rowe to our board will bring fresh sets of eyes, creativity and new perspectives to CAN TV as we embark on implementing our new strategic plan. That plan includes greater emphasis on local community outreach and civic engagement, internal development and repositioning CAN TV as viewing of education, entertainment, and civics programming on cable television evolves."
