CaryRx's mobile app allows patients to upload paper prescriptions via photo or easily transfer existing prescriptions and allows physicians to directly prescribe to CaryRx. Any prescription will be ready to order in just minutes. The app features a secure live chat with the pharmacy team, refill reminders, visual Rx management and express deliveries through Postmates. CaryRx is Postmates' first prescription fulfillment partner and, according to Mr. Nazari, "Our theme from day one has been automation of our pharmacy backend. The backend integration with Postmates expands on that theme and gives us the fastest prescription delivery experience available in the country with a delivery logistics platform that can scale with our volume."
As for pricing, "We're very excited to announce patients will have the same co-pay for their prescriptions and scheduled deliveries will be absolutely free for prescriptions delivered in Washington, D.C.," says Kevin Lance, VP of Business Development. "We accept most insurance plans and are continually expanding our network."
CaryRx is now available on the Apple App store with the Android app release soon to follow.
