San Francisco, CA, February 7, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Reis Ranch, a trusted and world-renowned horse training business in Penngrove, CA, for more than 30 years, is growing in leaps and bounds! Thanks to a Small Business Administration 504 loan from Capital Access Group, a commercial real estate lender, Reis Ranch was able to secure $3,475,000 in total project financing to purchase a 630-acre ranch in Petaluma, CA.
The new property, at 4871 Redwood Highway in Petaluma, is a labor of love for husband-and-wife owners Dennis and Deborah Reis. The property includes over 22,000 square feet of building space in various structures. The purchase of the new ranch allows the Reis’s to pursue their dream of creating a world-class horse sanctuary, providing space for working with horses with a new cattle operation, horse breeding, horse sales, trail-riding, and much more.
"This is a dream come true for us. The property is a beautiful place for people who are interested in purchasing a horse that's been trained by my husband, Dennis. It's completely private and we can control the environment and really create a safe space. If someone wants to look at one the horses and ride them...they can experience the horse."

He is also a featured clinician and keynote speaker at horse expositions across the U.S, and has appeared on many radio and TV programs. His and Deborah’s travels all over the U.S. training and giving lectures on “Universal Horsemanship” even led to a their national television show on RFD-TV, which made them celebrities in the horse world.
“We’ve always wanted to raise, train, and sell our own horses,” says Deborah, who runs the business with her husband. “This is a dream come true for us. The property is a beautiful place for people who are interested in purchasing a horse that’s been trained by my husband, Dennis,” Deborah said. “It’s completely private and we can control the environment and really create a safe space. If someone wants to look at one the horses and ride them...they can experience the horse.”
The 504 loan is making the Reis’s dream a reality. “It probably wouldn’t have been possible at all without it,” Deborah said. “Capital Access Group believed in us and our vision and gave us the loan. They were amazingly nice and enthusiastic, and they made the process so amiable and easy.”
“We were so happy to be able to help Dennis and Deborah access funds through the SBA 504 loan program to realize their dream of raising, training, and selling their own horses,” said Jacklyn Jordan, President and CEO of Capital Access Group. “The 504 program’s low down payment and fixed-rate, long-term financing made it possible for them to grow their business and fulfill their dream of breeding and raising their own horses.”
