Bloomex's Director of Marketing & Sales, Mark Camphaug, said that the Bouquet Giveaway is intended to bring a feeling of love to people who might otherwise be feeling a bit blue this Valentine's Day.
"We realize that although Valentine's Day is a very special occasion for millions of couples out there, there's some degree of sadness involved for some people who aren't currently in a relationship," said Mark Camphaug, director of marketing for Bloomex. "We want to invite those people, or their loved ones, to enter our contest for the chance to win a free bouquet this year on behalf of everyone at Bloomex."
Based in Ottawa, Ontario, Bloomex is the largest online florist in Canada.
Orders are taken and processed through the company's site at Bloomex.ca or by phone, and then delivered to customers via local courier. In addition to flowers, Bloomex offers a variety of other gift items including gift baskets, gourmet foods, sweets and treats, balloons and a large selection of other items.
In addition to serving Canada, the company also services the United States (www.bloomexusa.com) and Australia (www.bloomex.com.au.)
Unlike other national brands in the florist industry, Bloomex fulfills its production on the vast majority of its customers orders, buying flowers directly from growers.
The products are then shipped from the company's owned production facilities, located in eight Canadian cities in addition to Miami, Fla., and Sydney, Australia.
2013 was Bloomex's best year ever and the company is expecting to best it in 2014, with a new website design headlining the list of exciting developments.
