Jaselyn and Christopher, who both hold Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance from NYU, have over 100 combined professional theatrical and live event production credits to their name. Jaselyn holds a Masters of Fine Arts in Acting from Brown University/Trinity Repertory Company MFA Program while Christopher is currently a producer on the new hit 12 time Tony nominated Broadway musical, The Great Comet of 1812, starring Josh Groban as well as the upcoming European premiere production of Lin Manuel Miranda and Stephen Schwartz's Working: A Musical opening in London in early June.

Blanchard Creative Group’s previous credits include: Super Bowls 47, 48, 49, the US Open Tennis Tournament 2012-2015, concerts with Carrie Underwood, Usher, Blake Shelton, Ariana Grande, and more. Theatrical credits include: Elf the Musical (National Tour), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (National Tour), directed by Tony Award Winner Andy Blankenbuehler (Hamilton), also London’s West End, Off-Broadway, Trinity Repertory Company, The Hangar Theatre, and Westchester Broadway Theatre.

The Joci Awards has a longstanding tradition of celebrating the best and brightest of the performing arts in San Antonio, and this year will be no different. The one-night showcase culminates the Las Casas Foundation’s annual scholarship program which supports talented performing arts high school students. Since the program’s inception in 2009, Las Casas has awarded more than $685,000 to deserving students who excel in the performing arts, making it one of the largest scholarship funding source of its kind in the United States.

Each year, nationally-acclaimed theatre professionals gather together to select scholarship winners based on their performances. This year’s Joci Awards will take place at the Charline McCombs Empire Theatre on Sunday, May 21.
