Aviation Industry Takes Centrestage at Singapore EXPO

Premier aviation conference & exhibition calls in at Singapore's largest convention and exhibition venue for the next three editions

Asia's pre-eminent meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) venue is the new base for the next three editions (2013 - 2015) of the region's most celebrated aviation industry event MRO Asia. For the first time, Singapore EXPO and MAX Atria will host MRO Asia Conference & Exhibition 2013 from 29 - 31 October 2013. The three-day trade event aims to address the needs of the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) sector through the provision of a unique one-stop platform for OEM's, airlines and MRO suppliers to exchange industry know-how and conduct peer-to-peer learning.

The Exhibition will showcase how organisations with relevant aviation MRO products, strategies and solutions can develop innovative resolutions to meet their MRO needs. The Conference will feature first-rate speakers tackling pertinent issues and concerns surrounding the ever-changing aviation MRO domain through topical sessions and panel discussions centred on Advanced Materials, Engineering, Leasing, Propulsion, Regulatory as well as Supply Chain & Logistics, among others. World-class case studies with proven methodologies, trusted data and analytics will also be discussed encompassing end-to-end MRO content from leasing to IT to engines.

"We are delighted to host an event of such scale like MRO Asia. As an integrated venue solutions provider with over 30 years of experience, Singapore EXPO is ideally located in a vibrant precinct of many multinational and aerospace-related companies; retail space; business hotels and Changi International Airport. As such EXPO can ensure an exclusive meeting environment for MRO Asia's exhibitors, conference delegates and trade visitors to interact and discuss the latest aviation trends and solutions with industry leaders and senior members of key international organisations." says Aloysius Arlando, Chief Executive Officer, Singex, the managing company of EXPO.

MRO Asia is part of a global series of MRO conferences held in locations such as US, Europe, Eastern Europe and the Middle East organised by Aviation Week. "EXPO's expertise, its range of solutions like technology capabilities such as scalable Wi-Fi for all our 2500 international delegates and visitors, its partnerships with catering companies and hotels in walking distance and its proximity to the Seletar Aerospace Park (Singapore's industrial park for the aviation & aerospace industry), Changi International Airport and other industry stakeholders have made Singapore EXPO an ideal choice for our three upcoming editions of MRO Asia." says Lydia Janow, Director of Events & Tradeshows, Aviation Week.

MRO Asia adds to the growing portfolio of aviation & aerospace-related events staged at EXPO and MAX Atria by leading industry players such as the Association of Aerospace Industries Singapore, Changi Airport Group, Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore, Pratt & Whitney and Singapore Airlines. This reflects the burgeoning regional aviation and aerospace industry and underscores Singapore's leading position as a MRO hub.
