Anticipated 'Industrial Abstract Acrylic' Collection Finally Releasing May 11, 12 in Prescott, AZ, via Painter Abstract Annessa

Bombast

Emerging artist Abstract Annessa will unveil her highly anticipated "Industrial Abstract Acrylic" collection May 11-12 at the Prescott Art and Wine Festival in Prescott, Arizona.

Two years in the making, the already partially curated collection of acrylic paintings, featuring unseen color combinations and idiosyncratic shapes, has been designed to send out a reminder that a society more heavily focused on tech than humanity must also start to view their emotions in some technical sense, or start the conversation on how to increase humanity or both.

Travel the road with the artist through each piece creating the whole of the journey of discovery and lessons learned on the way to creating solutions that could help our society as a whole. With 25 pieces in the collection, each adding its own revelation to the whole, this is a thoughtful journey that also encompasses the healing through art this painter is known for.

The collection will be available for viewing and purchase throughout the Mother’s Day weekend festival. Hosted by the Mountain Arts Guild, the event will be held on the Prescott Courthouse Plaza. The event opens at 9 a.m. each day, closing at 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, and 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 12.

When humanity takes a back seat to technology, society is sick. We are sick. Done now or Yesterday … Rest is lazy … Protect everything because everyone is scary … are the current day mantras. This collection views the artist's emotional transitions through the lens of a tech-first society.

Works have already been part of two ‘tis Gallery eclectic shows, "Strong Women Art Anthology" by Pamela Carvajal Drapala and UT Austin Award-winning "Apricity Magazine" of emerging artists for 2019 issue. The website abstractannessa.com will only be featuring the new work after the show is complete with some small sneak peeks on Instagram @abstractannessa. This is the first time the work will be available for purchase and will never be at emerging artist prices again.

“Come and explore similarities and global solutions with me - our stories are probably not as different as you may think,” said Annessa Y Morrison.
