Acorn Growth Companies Acquires TSS
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, July 31, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Acorn Growth Companies (“Acorn”), a private equity firm investing exclusively in Aerospace & Defense (“A&D”), announced it has acquired Telecommunication Support Services, Inc. (“TSS”) headquartered in Melbourne, FL. The acquisition marks Acorn’s first in the defense electronics segment and the firm’s 20th overall transaction since inception.

Founded in 1991, TSS provides technical services around the world for all segments of the Telecommunication and Broadband industries, with a particular emphasis on Department of Defense (“DOD”) programs. Capabilities include the construction and management of earth-based satellite communication systems, radar station depot support and operational services, field installation and testing, headend connectivity and cabling, and integration of communication systems in the areas of wireless, broadband, and UHF/VHF/HF.
