Former Social Distortion Drummer Bob Stubbs Joins New Musical Group In Phoenix,Arizona
Bob Stubbs is currently writing & rehearsing material for a new album along with 2 new band members.The last release from Stubbs' was the 2006 album produced by Klaus Flouride titled "Brazen Beat - The Xeroxed Pop Robots Of The Almighty Brazen Beat"
Online, February 22, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Since releasing the debut album of the Prescott,Arizona band "BRAZEN BEAT" in 2006 that was produced by Klaus Flouride of "DEAD KENNEDYS" and arranged and co-written by Stubbs,Bob Stubbs has been on a constant search for new musicians to create a new sound and style of music with his roots in Hard Rock and Metal music.He has since found 2 of those musicians in Tony Campitelli on Lead Guitar and Ken Rodarte on Lead Vocals.The 3 have been rehearsing locally since August 2010 writing new songs for an up-coming album to be released later in 2011.Bob Stubbs came back to Phoenix,Arizona in 2001 originally to rejoin his former band "GLASS HEROES",but has since moved on into different musical directions since then.Stubbs' has been an on & off Phoenix,Arizona resident since 1989.Stubbs first came to the Valley of the Sun on tour with one of his more famous former bands "SOCIAL DISTORTION" back in 1984 the first time and again in 1985.Social Distortion's latest album has charted at number 4 on the Billboard album charts since January 2011 which is an all time career high for Stubbs' former band.
