Zeemo To Craft Attractive New Logo For Rising Sun Public School
The school contacted Australian graphic design company, Zeemo, with the brief and asked for a new logo that brought both the school and its military roots together.
Online, January 23, 2013 (Newswire.com) - The Rising Sun Public School is operated by the War Heroes Memorial trust and is located in the Haryana province of India. The school, established in 1989, provides education to primary and secondary age students, as well as offering hostel accommodation to those students who must travel to study. Students are offered a number of courses, including English, mathematics and science, as well as being taught to embrace their Indian culture. The managing director of the Rising Sun Public School, Sunehra Singh Mehla, decided that it was time for a new logo to be introduced to the school, one that embraced the war roots of the Memorial trust who operates it. The school contacted Australian graphic design company, Zeemo, with the brief and asked for a new logo that brought both the school and its military roots together. It was decided that the logo should resemble a medal and that it should incorporate the school colours of red, navy blue, green and yellow.
The creative team at Zeemo were eager to take on a project that was a little different to most other projects that they tackle and are currently hard at work coming up with a few options for the new Rising Sun Public School logo. The medal resemblance has been carefully incorporated, with the logo being circular in shape with a banner at the bottom professing the school's motto 'trust triumphs'. A golden yellow circular inlay proclaims the name of the school (about to be changed to the War Heroes Memorial School), which fits snuggly around a central image. Whilst this image is yet to be completely finalized, it has been decided that it will be military related (such as a saluting soldier).
