WWE NXT Live Show Takes Over University Area CDC

Facility rentals assist in funding community youth programs, adult education and resource assistance.

World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc.'s WWE NXT live show is taking over the University Area Community Development Corporation's (UACDC) complex, located at 14013 N. 22nd Street in Tampa, this Friday, April 11 at 7:30 p.m.

"There are so many wrestling fans in the Tampa Bay area and we're really excited to host the professional wrestlers of WWE NXT and their first live show here," said UACDC's Director of Development, Ronnie Oliver. "Events like this also help many University Area residents living below the poverty level. Funds from our facility rentals allow us to continue to provide youth programs, adult education and resource assistance, all free of charge."

As part of the WWE Network Series, WWE NXT features wrestling rookies competing to become WWE Superstars. Headliners for this show include NXT Superstars and Divas. Both ringside and general admission tickets may be purchased in advance at http://nxttickets.com.

The University Area Community Center Complex is a multi-purpose center and focal point of the community that also provides critical services to thousands of residents. The entire complex offers more than 20 fully-equipped rooms and areas available for rent including classrooms, community rooms, a fitness center, gymnasium and playground as well as a performance stage along with music, art and dance studios that can accommodate from 10 to 1,200 people.
