World Disability Day Marked at AlphaOne, Ahmedabad 'Something Special for the Special'
AlphaOne marked the 'World Disability Day' on December 03, in association with Sense International (India) to commemorate with the special gifted children who visited the City Centre.
Online, December 6, 2012 (Newswire.com) - AlphaOne marked the 'World Disability Day' on December 03, in association with Sense International (India) to commemorate with the special gifted children who visited the City Centre. This is the 2nd consecutive time that World Disability Day with Sense International was observed at AlphaOne. Kids participated wholesomely in this activity. A team of 6 people along with translators and instructors visited AlphaOne with a small set up where they sold Greeting cards and Mugs made by these children and also helped in raising funds for their education. This was followed by Zamir who showed his special honed skills in typing and communication in 3 different sign languages.
Sense International (India), also known as Sense India, is the first National Non-governmental Organization in India to develop services for visually and hearing impaired people throughout the region. AlphaOne and Sense International are proud to be facilitators in improving the quality of life and condition of the identified visually and hearing impaired people in Ahmedabad and surrounding areas.
