Wish Comes True for 13-Year-Old Richmond Hill Cancer Survivor

XanGo and Children's Wish Send Tymaz to FIFA 2010 World Cup in South Africa

Toronto, ON - One young boy's dream will come true on Sunday, July 4th, thanks to the generosity of XanGo and The Children's Wish Foundation of Canada.

Only months after winning his battle with cancer, 13-year-old Richmond Hill native Tymaz will take his passion for soccer all the way to South Africa to the FIFA 2010 World Cup.

Tymaz's wish trip to South Africa was granted by Children's Wish, in sponsorship with XanGo, a leading global nutrition company.

"We are thrilled to take part in making Tymaz's wish come true," said Scott Smith, GM of US and Canada for XanGo, LLC. "He has suffered a battle of which no child should have to endure and we wish him all the best during his time in Africa."

Tymaz was diagnosed with leukemia in 2008 and, after seven months of chemotherapy, is in remission. His passion for soccer and desire to return to the field to play the game with his friends fueled his determination to beat the disease.

"We are so appreciative of XanGo's efforts in helping Tymaz , as well as other children, through the Children's Wish program," said Linda Marco, Director, Development, The Children's Wish Foundation of Canada. "With the help of companies like XanGo, we can continue to shed some light in the lives of children who suffer from critical illnesses."
