Medical device security from start to finish.
About us
MedSec is a full-service medical device security support throughout the device lifecycle. Global regulatory expectations for medical device security have become increasingly prescriptive and comprehensive over the last decade. Threat models, penetration tests, SBOMs, and cybersecurity postmarket plans are now baseline expectation for many regulatory submissions. Staffing shortages and a widening talent deficit are stretching product security teams further than before. Keeping up can be exhausting, and it helps to have an expert in your corner. MedSec specializes in addressing these issues and more for our global client base. Nearly all of our advisors have worked at a medical device manufacturer and understand what it takes to meet these increasingly complex requirements.

MedSec reposted this
MedSec ‘s Joshua Berry opened Day 2 for the cyber track at INCOSE Systems Engineering in Healthcare conference today. Joshua is speaking about secure design, reminding teams to bring secure design elements into your process as early as process to ensure the most efficient and effective approach to your development process. Leveraging security input early and often can help not only develop a more secure device, but will also make your postmarket management much less painful. “It’s the right thing to do.”
