1. What is AKIVERSE?

AKIVERSE is a metaverse platform both for players to enjoy games and for talented independent game creators to be discovered and supported. Our platform allows creators to plan, develop, launch, and showcase their games to the world using blockchain technology in AKIVERSE.

Our Oden Can SDK (Software Development Kit) enables game creators to launch their very own Web3 games. Game creation is a comprehensive art.

Game designers, developers, scenario writers, visual artists, illustrators, sound creators, and other creators in various disciplines related to game development can all maximize their potential through AKIVERSE.

We are committed to unleashing the power of Web3 to provide a place for creators with distinct skill sets to collaborate on AKIVERSE, a hub where new and unique games are released to the world.

2. How you can play in AKIVERSE

AKIVERSE will provide Web3 games in the spirit of 1980s Akihabara, Japan where a unique techno arcade culture flourished.

Types of NFTs

Players can enjoy AKIVERSE through three main NFTs.

■Game Center (GC) NFT (ERC-721)

The Game Center NFT is similar to land NFTs in other metaverses. These Game Center NFTs are available in three sizes — small, medium, and large, and will allow you to install Arcade Machines inside, enabling players to find and play games. Arcade Machine owners will have to pay rent as a fee to use the space in Game Center.

■Arcade Machine (AM) NFT (ERC-721)

An Arcade Machine NFT allows you to play arcade games and earn tokens. Each Arcade Machine has one game inside and is activated for gameplay once installed inside a Game Center.

■Arcade Parts (AP) NFT (ERC-721)

Four types of AP make up an AM. When you gather four specific Arcade Parts and go through a process called “Crafting,” you can assemble an Arcade Machine.

Types of Players

As a Game Center Owner (GCO), Arcade Machine Owner (AMO), Crafter, or Game Player, users can enjoy various features of the three NFTs that AKIVERSE offers.

■Game Center Owner (GCO)

These players are the landlords of AKIVERSE, providing space to put their own / other players’ AM. They set a time-based rental fee and collect them from Arcade Machine owners.

■Arcade Machine Owner (AMO)

Based on the rental cost requested by the Game Center owners, these players decide where to place their Arcade Machine NFTs. To attract game players, installing the arcade games that is currently popular or in-demand in game centers is important. A portion of the revenue made from the Game Players will be the AMO’s earnings. Furthermore, they have the option to “extract” arcade parts from arcade machines and sell them for cryptocurrency.

■Crafter

These players use the Craft System* and combine/burn AP to create an AM. They can install the AM that they created in a GC to earn revenue from the Game Players or they can sell that AM on the marketplace for crypto.

*About the Craft System

The Craft System allows players to combine and burn AP by using $AKV and $AKIR as a Crafting fee to create an AM, which helps to maintain a sustainable ecosystem by balancing the supply of NFTs and tokens. When using limited AP or crafting that AM is challenging, the rarity of the AM will increase.

■Game Player

Players that sign up for AKIVERSE can play an AM for free. Win the arcade game to earn $AKIR tokens.

3. Future plans of AKIVERSE

A metaverse platform interconnected with real physical cities

The Web3 vision of AKIVERSE is inspired by the city of Akihabara. We drew upon this vision to create the layout of the Akihabara Game Centers.Following Akihabara, we will expand into an ever-growing federation of cities such as Shibuya and Bangalore.

Accompanying our growth in the metaverse, we will create linkages between the real and virtual world by bringing real-life events into the AKIVERSE world and vice versa.

By establishing connections between these worlds, we strongly believe that we can increase the value of the facilities, buildings, and lands in AKIVERSE and catalyze more engaged local communities.
