It is with the deepest regret that we announce the sad passing of Ambassador Glen A. Holden on Thursday April 18th.

Glen was one of FIP founders and its President between 1997 and 2006 and alongside Marcos Uranga was the instigator and creator of the FIP World Polo Championship.

He was a great man of the sport that has made an impact on our sport and the Federation of International Polo both nationally and internationally.

He will be sorely missed by his son Glen Jr., daughter Geannie Holden Sheller, grandchildren and the international polo community of friends throughout the world of polo and all of who encountered his affability, simplicity, generous hospitality and deep sense of friendship, a true gentleman of our sport.
