The Weinstein Law Firm is pleased to announce that the firm's managing attorney Andrew Weinstein has been elected to serve on the Board of Governors of the American Association for Justice.

The Board of Governors is the governing body of the AAJ (previously known as ATLA -the American Association of Trial Lawyers), and is charged with establishing and approving all Association policies, including the adoption of a three-year budget on an annual basis. Each state trial lawyer organization is represented on the board by two or more governors. Andrew Weinstein represents the Florida Justice Association on the board.

"I believe in the importance of being an active participant in industry-related organizations, and I'm honored to be chosen by my peers to serve on the board." explained Weinstein.

The AAJ is committed to promoting a fair and effective justice system-and to supporting the work of attorneys in their efforts to ensure that any person who is injured by the misconduct or negligence of others can obtain justice in America's courtrooms, even when taking on the most powerful interests.

As a trial attorney focusing on personal injury law and insurance litigation, Weinstein has successfully resolved several thousand cases for Florida consumers and healthcare providers. Weinstein is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell and has received a score of 10 from Avvo, which is the highest rating an attorney can achieve from this lawyer rating service. Weinstein has also been listed as one of the top attorneys in Florida by Super Lawyers and has been named one of the state's Legal Elite by Florida Trend magazine. As an active member in the Florida legal community and an advocate for consumers and health care providers, Weinstein frequently lectures on issues relating to Personal Injury Protection (PIP) insurance and Personal Injury claims and is often consulted by the media on these and other topics.

As the world's largest trial bar, AAJ promotes justice and fairness for injured persons, safeguards victims' rights-particularly the right to trial by jury-and strengthens the civil justice system through education and disclosure of information critical to public health and safety. With members worldwide, and a network of affiliates involved in diverse areas of trial advocacy, AAJ provides lawyers with the information and professional assistance needed to serve clients successfully and protect the values inherent in the civil justice system.
