Vibrant Graphics Wins High-Powered IQ Award
Each year, BizTimes Milwaukee honors companies who have developed groundbreaking products or services. Vibrant Graphics won one of ten IQ Awards this year for a development that significantly impacted the printing industry.
Online, March 19, 2010 (Newswire.com) - MILWAUKEE - After an intense competition across Southeast Wisconsin, Vibrant Graphics prevailed as one of the BizTimes Milwaukee Innovation Quotient (IQ) Awards winners for 2010.
The contest called for businesses throughout the region to nominate an innovative product or service that they have developed, and the awards honor these trend-setting Wisconsin companies. Over the past year, the team at Vibrant has spent considerable time and effort perfecting a new in-mold labeling process, which involves digitally printing labels on thin, unsupported films and laminating for ultimate protection. This application was the first to be used in the nation, and quickly implemented by several large injection molding companies. It gives in-mold labels a new level of functionality and overall appeal. BizTimes Milwaukee recognized the company's innovative work, awarding them with one of ten honors for this year.
