UPW Asia 2011 Accepting Abstracts for Singapore Conference
UPW Asia 2011 is accepting abstracts for the 2-day conference to be co-located at Singapore International Water Week. The session will focus on high-purity water used in the semiconductor, pharmaceutical, and power generation industries.
Online, March 27, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Abstracts for technical papers are being accepted for the upcoming ULTRAPURE WATER Asia 2011 (UPW Asia 2011) conference that will be conducted July 6-7 at the Suntec Exhibition Centre in Singapore. The conference will focus on high-purity water treatment in the semiconductor, pharmaceutical/biotech, and power generation industries.
UPW Asia 2011 will be co-located at Singapore International Water Week (SIWW), which will be conducted July 4-8. SIWW and UPW Asia will both be conducted at the Suntec Exhibition Center. ULTRAPURE WATER On-Line is sponsoring UPW Asia 2011.
UPW Asia 2011 will feature an opening session on business aspects of the water industry that will be followed by technical papers the afternoon of July 6 and all day July 7 on key issues related to high-purity water treatment. This will be the fifth conference ULTRAPURE WATER has conducted in Singapore. Previous conferences were conducted in 2000, 2002, 2004, and 2006 in conjunction with Singapore Utilities International.
The emphasis of this conference will be primarily on these high-purity water treatment areas: microelectronics industry (semiconductor, photovoltaic [PV], and nanotechnology), pharmaceuticals/biotechnology, power generation, and general high-purity water. Here are some different topics that will be emphasized: organics, monitoring technology development, system disinfection/sterilization, system validation, materials of construction, microbial control, condensate polishing, cooling system, water reclaim, pretreatment, and new technology developments.
