To celebrate thirty years of the brilliance of Super Mario and to mark the release of Super Mario 3D Land on the Nintendo 3DS, Tuppence Magazine entertainment news has put together a new infographic on the 30-year history of Super Mario games.

Visually representing Super Mario's evolution over the years the infographic starts off from his first ever 8-bit arcade game, Donkey Kong, in 1981, when he was still called Jumpman, and it goes up to this year's high-resolution 3D releases, including Mario Kart 7 and Super Mario 3DS (http://www.tuppencemagazine.co.uk/super_mario_3ds.html).

There has been a whole wealth of amazing Mario games over the years, ranging from the craziness of Super Mario Bros 2, to the perfection of Super Mario World. The introduction of the Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games series of games has even bridged the old school gap between the two former console rivals. He's refereed boxing matches, umpired and played more than a few tennis matches and squished more mushrooms than a pizza chef.

The history of Super Mario infographic has also been released online at sites like Visual.ly and other data visualization hubs, and it is also free for syndication on any other site using the embed code located beneath the infographic (http://www.tuppencemagazine.co.uk/the_history_of_super_mario_infographic.html).

The release of the infographic follows Tuppence Magazine's 2nd year of being live online and is the entertainment news and reviews website's first ever data visualization design. It's a continuation of the site design overhaul that it is going through at the moment and show its continuous dedication to producing great content online.
