TOPEX present at ROMATSA Conference

TOPEX, an European telecom equipment manufacturer and ATC solution provider, participated between 14 and 15 of April at the ATC IP Network Users Conference, organized by ROMATSA at its headquarters in Bucharest.

The event focused on the successful use of advanced communications technology to increase the effectiveness of ATC operations. ROMATSA presented facts from its decade long experience and invited IT&C solutions providers like TOPEX, Cisco SystemS and Datanet Systems, to share details about relevant technologies in ATC industry.
TOPEX provides highly available communication and information solutions for Air Traffic Control industry and it proposed for this event its IP VCS with all their features, advantages and benefits. During this event, Radu Balaci, Business Development Manager at TOPEX sustained a presentation about the way to optimize cost of communication in ATM using IP solutions, at high quality standards. "VoIP based ATC solutions adapted to new infrastructures" is the presentation title that described the advantages of the VoIP introduction in ATM such as: technical benefits, cost reduction and flexibility.

The Romatsa Conference offered TOPEX the opportunity to be a part of excellent networking with important attendees from Air Traffic Control Authorities like: FAA, DFS, Belgocontrol, LVNL, Austrocontrol, LPS, NATS, DSNA, Bulatsa, Moldatsa, Crocontrol. Beside these authorities the conference benefited of the presence of Eurocontrol, SITA or Eurocae organizations.
