TMG The Mortgage Group Delivers Smiles This Thursday May 29th to Breakfast Club Students Across Canada

This Thursday, May 29, ten teams from TMG the Mortgage Group will be serving up nutritious breakfasts to students in schools across Canada in support of the Breakfast Club of Canada.

At approximately 8 a.m. this Thursday, May 29th, 10 TMG Teams across Canada will be reporting to kitchens at Breakfast Club of Canada schools to help serve up nutritious breakfasts to students before they head off to class. TMG National Breakfast Club Day volunteers from Victoria to P.E.I. have been preparing for months, each matched with a participating school. TMG will also be hand-delivering Smile Bags full of goodies to students.

As a non-profit organization that provides funding, equipment, food, training and support to breakfast programs across the country, Breakfast Club of Canada is dedicated to making sure every child starts their day with a nutritious meal in a nourishing environment, helping them thrive at school, at home and in their community

A generous partner of Breakfast Club of Canada, TMG has been fundraising internally since November 2013, encouraging its national team of 700+ mortgage brokers to donate a portion of their commissions to the Club. Their original goal of $25,000 was quickly doubled to $50,000, a target they're gaining on, with over $35,000 raised to date.

"We've been very moved by Breakfast Club of Canada and their commitment to making sure 130,000 kids get a healthy breakfast every day," said Mark Kerzner, President of TMG. "We're proud to be a national partner and really excited about this May 29th event, especially to have the opportunity for members of our Team to visit local schools, show their support and have fun with the kids."

"TMG The Mortgage Group is such a wonderful supporter of the Club and we are thrilled about this national event they have created," said Daniel Germain, President and Founder of Breakfast Club of Canada. "The Club has a variety of partners across the country, and we love the diversity that each one independently offers."
