Hindustan Times & Shine.com present the first ever HR Summit. A unique full day event which aims to bring together the leaders of the HR industry to discuss and share experiences on practices that impact organisation culture & productivity.

Hindustan Times presents the 1st HT Shine HR Summit, a full day event where policy makers, corporate leaders and senior HR Practitioners come together to debate what it takes to Make India a Great Place to Work. An initiative by Shine.com, Hindustan Times' recruitment portal, it aims to bring together top HR professionals from across the country discussing drivers of productivity in the Indian workplace that go into making India a great place to work. The event takes place on the 7th March, 2012, at the Taj Palace New Delhi.

Shine.com, India's fastest growing recruitment portal, with 85 lakh candidates on board, has been in the HR space since 2008, bringing innovative solutions in recruitment and branding for organisations. Now it takes a step further in this domain by opening up a national level conversation with the leaders in this space around the bigger "HR" issues- what really goes into making our organisations and in turn our nation, a great place to work.

Talking about the initiative, Amit Garg, Business Head- HTMedia Digital said, "We often hear about India being a global superpower and how growth and development is being powered by a strong economy. However, we believe if the Indian economy has to reach its potential, we will need to ensure that every member of the workforce pushes his productivity to the maximum. And this will require action from both the employee and employer. This is what we seek to address at the first HT Shine HR Summit. Organisations will share best practices, have a good look at what changes they need to make themselves and determine the factors that will make India a great place to work. And as HT and Shine, we hope to take this conversation from just a discussion to execution in the market."

Top Speakers such as Vineet Nayar, Vice Chairman & CEO, HCL Technologies, Vikram Chachi, EVP, DHR India, Yashwant Malik, VP-HR Philips, Anadi Pande, VP, Hero Motorcorp, Krish Shankar, HR Bharti Airtel, Ashok Reddy, MD, Teamlease Services, Dilip Chenoy, CEO & MD, NSDC, and many more will be panelists at the event. Gautam Chikermane, Executive Editor (Business)- Hindustan Times, will be the chief moderator.
