A few months back, Piyu was selected to work on a project which required her to present a report on what goes into the making of a successful B2B website in the industrial products segment. She was understandably unsure about doing justice to the project, since she was from a non-technical background.

"Being from a non-IT background, it was challenging for me at first to evaluate a website on various perspectives. It was difficult for me to understand the technicalities of a website. However, as I delved deeper into the things that make a website exclusive, I realized it was all very logical. In due course, I was completely hooked to the project and what initially seemed a challenge turned out to be knowledge based fun experience for me.

Piyu knew well that based on her study, specific recommendations would be given for improvement of the websites of Usha Martin Limited and other group companies. This only made her work harder.

I learnt the valuable art of the nuances of working with secondary data. The successful completion of the project proved to be a great confidence booster."

With this project behind her, Piyu is now looking forward to more such projects that provide her with the opportunity to learn.
