Texas hospitals acquire web-based DigiNet Pro Image Management & Reporting Systems

Two Texas hospitals select DigiNet Pro, a web-based application for fully functional remote reading and reporting of their cardiovascular studies.

HOUSTON (December 3, 2009) - Matagorda County Hospital District in Bay City, Texas, upgraded their existing DigiView cardiovascular image system (CVIS) to DigiNet Pro, a web-based application with DigiView's full image management and reporting capabilities. Users can access patient images, perform analysis and create reports when it's most convenient for them - at the hospital, at home, or anywhere with Internet access. The facility also purchased a real-time Gateway Monitor that will record all network transmission events and minimize the possibility of data loss due to gateway, network or imaging modality failures.

A facility in Mineral Wells, Texas, Palo Pinto General Hospital, also acquired a DigiView Image Management & Reporting System and DigiNet Pro application. In addition to DigiView's fast, efficient and fully configurable CVIS, a Gateway Monitor and Database Query Tool will also provide a record of network transmissions and a comprehensive query search tool that clinicians can use to find, track and compile important patient information. A DataLink for GE Vivid Q will also eliminate human input errors by automating the transmission of patient data from the ultrasound machine to the Digisonics system.
