Tekra Launches New & Improved Static Cling Vinyl for HP Indigo Printers

Tekra's new Dura-Go static cling vinyl solves many of the common issues HP Indigo users have when printing on static cling vinyl.

Tekra Corporation has announced the addition of two new 8 mil static cling vinyl products to their Dura-Go® line of HP Indigo optimized films.

As users of static cling material know, static cling can be a challenge to print. Plasticizer migration can be a major problem to a printer, especially a printer using digital presses. Migrating plasticizer can cause sheets in a stack to block together making feeding into the press impossible or can cause a sheet to stick to the blanket of the press, thus damaging it during processing. In addition, poor adhesion of the vinyl to the board can cause the vinyl to stretch off the board during printing, causing die cutting to be out of register.

Tekra's new and improved Dura-Go coated static cling products have been thoroughly tested and have performed exceedingly well in solving all the common static cling issues. Both sides have excellent adhesion to glass and other highly polished smooth surfaces. These static cling vinyls are specially coated for printing with HP Indigo presses and they are HP certified by RIT.

The 2 products that are currently stocked in 12" x 18" and 13" x 19" sheets, ready to ship, are:
