"Team Kristine 2013" Announces $10,000 Fundraising Goal Through Indiegogo Campaign

Texas based Inspirational singer/songwriter Kristine launches "Team Kristine 2013" - An 'Indiegogo' crowd funding campaign - Sets sights to raise $10,000 to complete debut CD project

Kristine Trigg, the Texas based singer/songwriter who is professionally known by the one name moniker Kristine has launched a 60-day crowd funding campaign to finish her (yet to be named) upcoming debut independent CD release. "Team Kristine 2013" (http://igg.me/at/Kristine) hopes to raise at least $10,000 by or before the June 8, 2013 deadline. The funds will be used for mastering, mixing, inserting additional overdubs, marketing, promotions and a video shoot to successfully complete her project.

Kristine chose to make her appeal through 'Indiegogo', the popular international crowd funding solution that empowers ideas and enables people to donate funds and receive a reward for their contribution. "I chose this flexible funding campaign because it opens up the project and allows others to participate in the outcome. It also leaves me to be free to create on my own as God leads me," she says.

Over the past several months, the inspirational singer has been touting her yet to named debut CD release. Kristine and her producer husband and collaborator, Steve Trigg have successfully completed the final stages of the singer's first independent solo offering. "It has certainly been a labor of love to complete all the writing, recording and producing of the songs," recalls Kristine with a smile. However, they still have more work to do to get this project just right and need to raise serious funds to do it. "We decided to do this project completely independently because we wanted to hear from God. He might use a (record) label at some point but right now, he wants us to show the world what 'faith' can do...and I have lots of faith."

A portion of the proceeds raised will be used to add live instrumentation and studio overdubs to the songs and provide professional mixing and mastering of the CD. Mastering, the final step in the production process, ensures that the sound quality of the project is held to the highest of current industry standards. These best practices are crucial to radio consideration and the overall success of the project. The funds will also go toward marketing and promotions which include everything from promotional postcard fliers to the CD artwork and packaging. Additionally, there are CD manufacturing and distribution costs, as well as a video budget for the lead single.

Contributors can choose from many levels of donations with coinciding perks available. Denominations range from the lowest level of $1 to the top tier donation of $5,000. As a bonus, everyone who contributes on any level will be included on a thank-you page on the singer's website (http://www.KristineMusic.com). Perks include advance release downloads, autographed CDs, personal birthday calls, Team Kristine 2013 special edition t-shirts, and even a private concert for you and your closest friends or church group at the location of your choice.

"This CD comes from God. It is full of love, hope, healing, restoration and inspiration. I believe it's going to change many people's lives," declares Kristine. "The amount of money 'Team Kristine 2013' (http://igg.me/at/Kristine) hopes to raise through Indiegogo will enable us to fulfill our destiny by helping us get our brand of positive inspirational music into the hands and hearts of people all over the world."
