T.R. "Tina" Threston Named to National Women's History Museum Honor Roll for 2nd Year in a Row

Publisher and travel writer T.R. "Tina" Threston has been named to the National Women's History Museum Honor Roll in 2013

Publisher and travel writer T.R. "Tina" Threston has been named to the 2013 National Women's History Museum Honor Roll for a second year in a row. The museum boasts high profile members and supporters such as Oscar-winning actress Meryl Streep, and, was founded in founded in 1996 by Karen Staser, and, is a 501(c)(3) organization.

Threston, Founder and CEO of World Guide Publishing in New York City, said she is "thrilled to be among the 2013 Honor Roll." She went on to say "It's a humbling experience, knowing how many women out there deserve recognition, but, never receive it, and, it just makes me more grateful to be part of the experience."

In addition to running her publishing company, T.R. "Tina" Threston is also the current Chairperson of New York Travel Writers Society, and, she is a Team Captain for KIVA (a micro-loan non-profit foundation.) Friend and colleague travel writer Christine Barone describes Threston as "very dedicated, and, is one of the hardest working people I've ever encountered in my life. Tina absolutely puts everything and everyone around her first. She is selfless and humble in spite all of her achievements. She is a true inspiration and deserves the attention and praise."
