Surf Ski Week in Mauritius
The 24th to the 29th of June 2013 will see Mauritius celebrate Surf Ski Week, culminating in the Ocean Classic surf ski race.
Online, June 11, 2013 (Newswire.com) - A surf ski is a long and narrow open kayak which you sit on top of with a foot pedal controlled rudder and has become a popular sport in Mauritius.
This year is the 5th edition of the Mauritius Ocean Classic, a race which will form part of the Ocean Paddle World Surf Ski Series. The course in Mauritius is one of the best downwind courses in the entire series and is a real challenge to lovers of the sport.
The event is a great place for people with a passion for surf ski to get together and takes place at the Tamassa resort.
