Studio 2055, one of San Diego's most recognized branding agencies, has announced the rebranding and identity for San Diego's leading structural engineering firm, Hope Engineering. The newly formed corporation will now be Hope-Amundson, the name taken from the two principals, Chuck Hope and Jim Amundson. Their respective names substantiate the evolution of the firm and signify the promise of providing their clients with the highest quality services based on their values of integrity, teamwork, ingenuity and community.

"2013 is our 20th anniversary," said Chuck Hope. "We wanted a dynamic, representative new brand image that appeals to our industry. Studio 2055's creative, strategic and digital talent is exactly what we needed to successfully rebrand ourselves and pave the way for future growth. We are extremely pleased with their work and for the future of Hope-Amundson."

The rebranding project involved the development of a new logo, corporate communications materials, website and signage. The new website showcases the voice of their brand through compelling photos of their profiled projects. Images photographed by Tim Mantoani of Tim Mantoani Photography demonstrate the atmosphere and dynamics of their team in their downtown San Diego office. The website has a robust custom content management system (CMS) that enables the staff to keep online content fresh with updated project profiles and blog entries.

"Studio 2055 is a company that's squarely focused on the client; a belief that is the cornerstone of Hope-Amundson," says Jim Amundson. "Every discussion and decision from the Studio was done so with our mission in mind. We're thrilled that the new website and branding elevates the position of the firm within the building industry. We look forward to working with Nanette in taking the company to the next level."

"We have an ongoing relationship with Hope-Amundson that has given us the time to experience their values in action. Those values are the cornerstone of their business culture and the rebranding reflects all of our creative work," explained Nanette Newbry, Creative Director and Principal of Studio 2055. "We kept Hope-Amundson's legacy in mind while positioning the firm for the future."
