The event to be held at Tata Theatre, NCPA, Mumbai on Sunday the 1st August 2010 from 6:30 pm onwards. Apart from the musical, there is a visual treat for all guests walking in who will be treated by the exhibition of photographs by Hemanshu Sheth, celebrating the beauty and pleasures of 'vision' & 'color'. There will also be an orchestra by visually challenged playing in the foyer to add the touch of positive spirit to the evening.

Aditya Jyot Foundation for Twinkling Little Eyes (AJFTLE) was established in 2005 with an aim of tackling eye problems in children. Later it expanded its activities to encompass all sections of the society. The managing trustee of the foundation, Dr. Natarajan, is a renowned eye doctor with over 2 decades of experience in the field of specialty eye care and is an internationally well known eye care surgeon. The upcoming charitable eye hospital at Dharavi will be fully equipped to offer free eye screening for all children and elderly patients and will undertake activities like Diabetic Retinopathy screening, regular & general eye screening for all walk in patients. The free day care eye centre was inaugurated in Dharavi on May 25th 2010.

Since its inception, Aditya Jyot Foundation for Twinkling Little Eyes has been proactive in organizing free eye check-ups for various ocular diseases like refractory errors, squint, cataract detection and IOL surgeries etc. in children and adults The main aim is to bring awareness among people regarding eye disorders and their early detection. Till date, they have screened approximately 17,000 children from various schools in Thane and Mumbai & have performed over 1500 free cataract and retinal surgeries and about 3000 investigative procedures like angiography and topography. The organization takes special interest in promoting eye donation & is also engaged in an ambitious diabetic retinopathy awareness and detection project named "Mumbai Diabetic REALITY" (Retinopathy Awareness Level Incidence prevalence & Therapy) project. This project has signed a MoU with the World Diabetic Foundation (WDF) for implementation and will be first of its kind in Western India.
