San Diego Chargers Pro Bowl Center, Nick Hardwick Signs Two-Year Endorsement Deal With Good Feet

San Diego Football Star Nick Hardwick Finds Pain Relief with Good Feet

Carlsbad, Calif., May 18, 2010: The Good Feet Store, an international manufacturer and retailer of personally-fitted arch supports and natural sponge rubber cushions, announced today that Chargers Star Center, Nick Hardwick, has been signed to a two-year endorsement deal. Beginning this spring, Hardwick will appear in Good Feet's San Diego advertising campaigns. The campaigns will include television and radio commercials, in-store appearances and an Internet blog chronicling his journey to improved foot health and pain relief through wearing Good Feet Arch Supports.

Leigh Woeller, Marketing Director at Good Feet's corporate offices in Carlsbad, Calif., was introduced to Hardwick before the start of 2009 season. Hardwick, just back from his first injury that sidelined him for four games in the 2008 season, was looking forward to a big year in 2009 and was interested in trying Good Feet Arch Supports to help him with pain in his feet. Woeller invited Hardwick to be fitted for Good Feet Arch Supports, but before their meeting could happen, Hardwick's left foot was badly injured during the first game of the of the 2009 season. He required more surgery and was sidelined for 14 games. Following a long recovery and triumphant return to the Chargers starting line, Hardwick was fitted with Good Feet Arch Supports and began a relationship with the company to spread the message about his success with the Good Feet products.

Said Nick Hardwick about his new relationship with Good Feet, "I was looking for supports that would not only protect my feet, but ones that would allow them to progress in the areas of alignment and strength. I remembered my meeting months earlier with the Good Feet people. I called Leigh and took her up on her offer to try out the arch supports. Literally a week into wearing them, I was having my best days on my feet since the injuries. I haven't taken them off since."

Hardwick is among an estimated 87 percent of the population who suffer from some sort of foot-related problem. Good Feet Arch Supports are specifically designed to more evenly distribute body weight by supporting all four arches of the foot while providing better comfort, stability and balance, which can alleviate pain and discomfort in the feet, knees, hips and back. Unlike supports sold off-the-rack through major retailers like drug stores, Good Feet supports are personally fit to the wearer's foot to ensure ultimate comfort.

"As a professional football player, we believe Nick is a wonderful representative for our company and our customers," said Misti Campbell, Director of Training and Regional Manager for the San Diego Good Feet Stores. "Like a lot of people, Nick relies on his feet to make a living. Everyday work performance and even recreational activities can be hindered due to foot pain and discomfort. With Good Feet Arch Supports, Nick has found pain relief that lets him perform at his best."

"When I met Nick, he was wearing custom orthotics in his athletic shoes," added Woeller. "Now he wears Good Feet supports in all of his shoes and he swears by them. Nick is enjoying training and working out with pain-free feet, and we've found ourselves our new pitchman. It turned out to be a match made in heaven."
