May 21, 2014 (Newswire.com) - One of the best ways to develop and increase the moral and spiritual value of a child is to send him to a Christian Summer Camp for his vacation. Many Christian camps feature a wide variety of activities, and field trips that teaches Christian ideals and values, something that is starting to wane in today's youth.
Royal Ridges Retreat Camp conceived in 1978 is one Christian Camp located in Vancouver, Washington that offers camp activities that will increase the youth awareness in appreciating family life and the importance of clean living.
For the young adults of America this summer camp will help them realize the dangers of today's too much liberalization allowing them to discover that there are limits to these types of freedom so as not to destroy one's life. Although the camp is ran by the Pacific Northwest District of the Evangelical Free Church, all activities and programs they prepare are all non-denominational in design, scope and teaching and their main goal, as with any other summer camp is to impart and reinforce on the youth right moral and Christian values.
Christian summer camp can be a wonderful experience for kids because of the various educational and sport activities that are offered to them. In some cases, Royal Ridges would find a suitable place to hold neighborhood camp activities for those who cannot attend Overnight Camp and would need to go home after the activities. Overnight camps offers sleep away programs that last for days where the kids spend their time away from home with other kids, counselors, adult chaperons and camp leaders. Kids usually sleep in cabins or tents during their stay.
Like any other camps, Royal Ridges offer water activities such as swimming, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, tubing and water skiing. More difficult water sports such as water aerobics, water volleyball, snorkeling and sailing are water activities usually offered to older children but are monitor by professional adults. Other outdoor activities are also available which includes hiking, biking, backpacking and archery. There are Horseback Lessons, hayrides and trail rides. Wilderness survival is sometimes offered to more mature or pre teen individuals. Activities and classes offered by Royal Ridges help not only to keep the kids busy and entertained more importantly to help them learn new things. The Camp guarantees that participant will discover experiences and leave the place with a new, better and hopeful outlook for their future life.
