Review Of Firearms Legislation Needed Now

mingle-Trend presents the results of a representative survey asking Britons their views on the current firearms legislation in the UK

The massacre in Cumbria which left twelve dead and a further eleven injured has sparked a new debate over the legislation of firearms in the UK. mingle trend conducted a representative survey to ask Britons their opinion on the matter.

59% of those asked feel that access to guns is currently too easy and that legislation should become stricter. A third said that current regulations are already suitable whereas a minority of 3% think that ownership laws could actually be relaxed.

Men seem to be less concerned by the situation with 41% who are happy with current laws and see no need for change compared to just 24% of women.

The results suggest that a review of firearms legislation is probably due as the majority of those surveyed have expressed feeling that current laws are not strict enough.
