Removals Company In Norwich Bucks The Trend

With the demand for removals companies in Norwich shrinking, one business is set to buck the trend.

Since the financial crisis in 2008, the UK housing market has become increasingly volatile and unpredictable. This has caused untold misery for a number of industries, in particularly the removals industry.

Generally, a fall in house prices is down to a lack of demand, meaning less people are buying new houses. In Norwich, the BBC has reported a significant drop in prices over the last year of 4.5% - meaning the average house price is at low of £158,181.

While this means there is less removals work, local removal company in Norwich, Abels Moving Services, have recently reported bucking the trend. This summer has seen a significant increase in customers.

Bex Field, spokesperson from Abels says "when there's less people moving it's important to ensure that the service you offer is of the highest standard." She went on to say, "moving house can a stressful and difficult time for people, meaning any mistakes can be very upsetting for customers. At Abels we strive on making our service as supportive and professional as possible - meaning we can win more clients in a shrinking market places like Norwich".

Her comments are echoed by Abels Group Managing Director, Mr Pertoldi, who said, "At Abels, we are totally committed to providing a quality service for our customers. I believe we have the people, the resources and experience to more than fulfill our objective. If the service customers receive ever falls short of the mark - then they can contact me personally."

Most people in Norwich will be hoping the housing market improves - following other cities in the East of England, such as Cambridge who have seen house average prices increase by 2.5% in the last year. Unsurprisingly, it's the detached houses at the top of the market which have been selling much quicker, with a 19.4% increase on last year.
