Online, July 3, 2014 (Newswire.com) - The recent opening of a brand new H-E-B Plus at Stone Oak marks a two year gluten free partnership between grocery market giant H-E-B and local gluten free bread producer The Little Aussie Bakery and Cafe. The partnership was formed to improve gluten free food choices for the gluten intolerant (and those who choose to avoid gluten) in San Antonio. H-E-B Stone Oak market is the seventh local store to be supplied by the Little Aussie with a choice of 16 products including a variety of gluten free loaves, buns, pizza crusts, flour blends, mixes and cookies. Gluten free bread products will include white sandwich loaves, caraway "rye" loaves, whole flax loaves, and hamburger buns. Gluten free baking mixes will include cornbread mix, waffle/ pancake mix, all purpose flour, chocolate cake mix, Texan biscuit mix, and white bread mix. Cookies available will include chocolate chip cookies, snickerdoodle cookies, ginger cookies, and anzac (oatmeal) cookies.
